1)  How do I book my vacation at Villa Chuchubi?

All bookings are made by either using the ‘Contact Us’ form for a quotation, or by clicking on the ‘Links’ tab above and selecting ‘VRBO Listing for Villa Chuchubi’. Here you can search availability on our live calendar.

2)  How and when do I make payments for my vacation?

By booking directly with us, payment is made by electronic bank transfer, or directly into our bank account via your usual banking facility. For bookings via our VRBO listing, payment can be made using all major credit (and debit) cards.

Payment can be made in two ways:

(a)  In full at the time of booking, or

(b)  In two stages, being a 50% down payment at the time of booking, with the remainder of the payment due 60 days prior to the start of your vacation.  There is a security deposit payable of $700 and this is fully refundable, subject to compliance with the terms of the Rental Agreement. This refundable deposit is placed as a ‘charge’ against your card, and only deducted after the check out report has been received and it is deemed necessary under the terms of the Rental Agreement.

3)  Are there any hidden costs?

When you plan a vacation you like to know there are no hidden charges. The price you pay for your vacation includes a generous utility allowance of $200 USD per week. With responsible use this should cover the costs for gas, water and electricity charges. Any additional usage is simply deducted from the security deposit (we would give you a detailed breakdown to explain why a proportion of your deposit has been retained). We have not yet needed to make a deduction for over use of utilities, and remembering to turn the AC units off when you leave the house, or in rooms that are not being used, will keep usage to a minimum.

In August 2013, the Govenment of Aruba levied an Environmental Tax per occupied bedroom, and most other vacation rentals make an additional charge for this. At Villa Chuchubi we pay your tax!  All other costs are included unless there is misuse of the property or its facilities, and any additional charges of this type are outlined in the Rental Agreement, which is sent to you at the point of booking.

4)  Is there someone local who I can contact if there is a maintenance issue or I have any problems during my vacation?

If you need assistance of this nature, you can call our local award-winning Property Manager, whose details are sent to you at the time of booking, and are also included in the welcome pack at the villa.

5)  What personal items are included?

The following will be provided for your vacation:-

  • Complimentary toiletries to start you off

  • All towels (including pool/beach towels)

  • Hair dryer (in each bedroom)

  • Starter supplies of tea, coffee and sugar

6)  What if I need to know anything else before or after booking?

We are always happy to answer any questions, so please feel free to send us a message by clicking on the "Contact Us" tab and completing the form.
